NEJVĚTŠÍ DAR
V dávných dobách ovládali naši zemi pohanští bohové a bohyně. Nejen na Valašsku dobře známý bůh Radegast, ale plno jiných – dobrých i zlých, laskavých i hašteřivých, veselých i vážných. Jak to dopadne, když se bohové začnou plést do života lidem a lidé do života bohům?
To se dozvíte v nové české pohádce natáčené na Pustevnách, v Kozlovicích a Valašském muzeu v přírodě.

HRANA ZLOMU
Temné drama Hrana zlomu v hlavní roli se Štěpánem Kozubem v nečekané herecké poloze, kterému zdatně sekunduje znepokojující hrdinka v podání Pavly Gajdošíkové. Film, který se natáčel na lokacích Ostravska a Rožnovska.

NOVÁ ŠICHTA
Festivalovými cenami ověnčený dokument sleduje cestu Tomáše Hisema, který pracoval 25 let jako horník na Ostravsku. Trh práce se ale mění, doly zavírají, havíři se rekvalifikují. Tomáš si navzdory nevěřícím pohledům svých kamarádů volí specializaci, která má k jeho původní profesi opravdu na hony daleko. Hodlá se stát programátorem. Intimní a zároveň lehce humorný časosběrný portrét režiséra Jindřicha Andrše sleduje komorní, ale epickou odyseu obyčejného člověka.

This video by the famous Youtuber was part of a Czech Railways marketing campaign called Vlak´n´roll. The awarded video was shot by Kovy’s team at the Lower Vítkovice area (Bolt Tower, Science and Technology Centre, Tendon) and in the Štít colony in Vítkovice.

CLERGY (KLER)
This Polish drama by director Wojciech Smarzowski tells the story of three Catholic priests, whose actions are at great odds with their faith. One of the most viewed films in Polish cinematography. In the movie, you can recognize Moravian-Silesian locations such as the churches in Košetice near Velké Heraltice, Orlová and Opava, or even Ostrava’s Masaryk square.

THE WAY OUT (CESTA VEN)
The Way Out premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and became the first Czech full-length feature to be introduced at the festival since 1998. The film was awarded seven Czech Lion awards and four Czech Film Critics awards.
It tells a story of a young Roma mother fighting to lead a simple, happy life.

ODE TO MY FATHER
South Korean filmmakers used the locations in Ostrava and its surroundings to shoot one of the most successful films in history.
The plot takes place in the 1960s after the Korean War, when the government sent Korean men in large numbers to work in German mines, while tasking women to serve as nurses and caretakers. Our North Moravian locations thus portrayed Germany.

BUDWEISER SELECT HOCKEY TEAM FOR LIFE
SThis video advertisement was part of the campaign focused on supporting the fan base loyalty program. The Canadian-Czech crew filmed this ad in Ostrava’s then ČEZ Arena (today’s Ostravar Arena) and featured many Czech extras.

DJ ETOSTONE – TOGETHER ft. JASON McKNIGHT
This music clip featuring the Greek DJ was shot at the Michal mine and in the Czechoslovak fortification complex in Darkovičky. The French-Colombian director of the clip, Juan David Salazar, received a VMA Action Award for the best music video clip of 2013 at an L.A festival.

OSTRAVAR BREWERY COMMERCIAL
The first video advertisement for the brewery was not created until its 120th anniversary.
The clip was understandably shot at Ostrava’s locations, including the Lower Vítkovice Area, the Michal mine, the Vítkovice landmark zone, the Poruba winter stadium, as well as other parts of Poruba.

This new Czech comedy is loosely based on the work of the now legendary blogger and his seven best-selling books called Deniky Ostravaka.
